These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Young Handyman Services website, as well as any services you request, book, or receive from Young Handyman Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or booking services, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Young Handyman Services offers general handyman, home repair, and installation services.
Our work is performed professionally and within the scope of non-licensed services permitted under Arizona law.
We do not provide:

Licensed electrical work

Licensed plumbing requiring a permit
-
HVAC services
-
Major structural, roofing, or remodeling work
If a project exceeds the legal limits of unlicensed handyman services, we may refer you to an appropriate licensed contractor.

2. Estimates & Quotes
All estimates are based on the information and photos you provide.
Final pricing may adjust if:

The actual scope of work differs from the submitted description

Additional time or materials are required
-
Issues are discovered once work begins
Any changes will be communicated clearly before additional charges are added.

3. Booking & Scheduling
Service appointments must be approved by Young Handyman Services.
Submitting an intake form does not guarantee a booking.
A booking is confirmed only after:

We review your request
-
Provide an estimate
-
You accept the estimate
-
You receive a scheduling confirmation
We reserve the right to decline a project at our discretion.

4. Payments
Payments may be made via:

Credit or debit card
-
Square invoice
-
Afterpay (if enabled)
-
Cash (with a card on file)
Payment for services is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise specified in writing.
We do not accept checks.

5. Materials & Hardware Fees
If a job requires materials such as:

Anchors
-
Screws
-
Mounting hardware
-
Light bulbs
-
Toilet seats
-
Adhesives
-
Clips, brackets, or connectors
A materials fee will be added to your invoice.
The amount depends on what is required for your project.
All materials must be paid in full.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
To cancel or reschedule, you must notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in:

A cancellation fee

Loss of your appointment slot

Requirement of a deposit to rebook
Repeated cancellations may result in the denial of future service.

7. Access Requirements
You agree to:

Provide safe access to the job site

Ensure all pets are secured

Clear the work area of fragile or obstructive items
-
Provide accurate instructions for gated communities or restricted areas
If access is not provided, a trip fee may apply.

8. Safety & Liability
We take all reasonable precautions to perform services safely and professionally.
However, Young Handyman Services is not responsible for:

Pre-existing structural issues
-
Faulty or damaged electrical components
-
Hidden plumbing problems
-
Pre-existing damage to walls, fixtures, or surfaces
-
Issues caused by previous repairs performed by others
You agree to hold Young Handyman Services harmless for damages resulting from conditions outside our control.

9. Warranty & Guarantee
We provide a 7-day workmanship guarantee on labor performed.
This does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse
-
Wear and tear
-
Issues caused by the materials you supplied
-
Issues stemming from pre-existing conditions
We reserve the right to determine whether an issue is covered under the workmanship guarantee.

10. Photo & Media Consent
You grant permission for Young Handyman Services to take “before and after” photos of completed work for:

Quality control

Portfolio use
-
Marketing purposes
No identifying customer information will be shared.
If you prefer not to have photos used publicly, you may opt out at any time.

11. Website Use
By using our website, you agree not to:

Copy or redistribute any site materials

Attempt to interfere with site functionality

Use our services for illegal purposes
-
Submit false or misleading information
Unauthorized use may result in restricted access.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Young Handyman Services is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Loss of property value

Delays caused by factors outside our control

Issues arising from customer-supplied materials
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
